Landing pads enable Yakima Control Tower Foot Packs to be installed on vehicles with roof mounted factory adjustable tracks, or factory fixed mounting points. They are also available to allow these towers to be permanently attached (holes must be drilled) to the roof and to bolt onto truck caps, tent trailers, RVs, or boats. These sturdy glass reinforced nylon pads are vehicle specific and provide the interface between the rack foot and your vehicle, for a custom fit that ensures a perfect, secure rack attachment. Landing pads come with everything required for installation, including snap-on covers for when the rack is not in use and detailed instructions.
